The Lady Bulldogs of Madison volleyball team opened their 2026 season on Tuesday, Sept. 1, traveling to Hartford to take on the Jaguars of Hartford and the Northern Lyon County (NLC) Wildcats.
Against NLC, the Bulldogs fell 25-19, 21-25, 1225. In junior varsity action, Madison claimed the match, 28-26, 25-23. C-Team lost in 2 sets. No scores available.
Against Hartford, the Lady Bulldogs claimed the match, 25-13, 25-10.
The Lady Bulldogs were scheduled to host Hartford and Manhattan Chief on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m., before traveling to Eureka on Saturday, Sept. 12, for the annual Eureka Tournament. Action is slated to begin at 9 a.m., with Madison facing Eureka on the north court. Madison will then move to the Tornado Activity Center (TAC) to face Olpe. In the third round, Madison will face Fredonia, followed by Rose Hill on the south court. Madison will conclude action in the TAC against Independence.
