Chip seal and culvert replacement projects have wrapped up on the same stretch of K-99 in Greenwood County, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT).
KDOT added a chip seal surfacetoK-99fromtheU.S. 54/K-99 east junction north to the Lyon County line. The other project involved replacing a box culvert bridge over the Homer Creek drainage on K-99 at the intersection of 190th Street, which is 3 miles north of U.S. 54. The contractor created a temporary road for motorists while the culvert was replaced. Both projects wrapped up this month.
