The July monthly meeting of the Fancy Mustangs 4-H Club was called to order on July 23, at 7:35 p.m. at the Greenwood County fairgrounds, following the Greenwood County Fair set-up. The meeting was called to order by President Lylly Stapleford and the roll call was answered by “What are you most excited about during the Fair?” The Club discussed who would help with Pee-Wee showmanship following each species and reminded everyone the club would allow 10 kids to show each species and they would be rewarded with a ribbon and a $2 bill.
4-H council updates included that all the livestock kids needed to help serve at the buyer’s meal on Monday. In upcoming events, 48-hours of 4-H was discussed: the club will attend the Neal Evangelical Church together, and then clean the Neal Community Building as their community service project and potentially paint the Neal “N.”
