Charlette Ann Dragoo, 84, of Eureka, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Charlette was born on February 15, 1942, in Gentry County, Missouri, the daughter of Lloyd Douglas and Mary Eva (Williams) Smith. As a young woman, she was well on her way to becoming a champion barrel racer before fate led her to the love of her life, William 'Bill' V. Dragoo. The couple was united in marriage on July 4, 1959, at Lonestar Church in Gentry County, Missouri, beginning a beautiful marriage that spanned 68 years.
Above all else, Charlette cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother. She found immense joy cheering on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren from the sidelines at countless ball games.
