Kylie Vinson, a 2019 graduate of Eureka Jr.Sr. High School, received her first Heartland Emmy on Saturday, July 18. She was awarded the 2026 Heartland Emmy in the Editor-Content division.
Vinson has served as a Creative Content Producer for Oklahoma State University for the past two and half years.
“Winning a Heartland Emmy means to me validation that I am good at what I do,” stated Vinson. “This past year I was second guessing my career path and wondering if I had potential in something else I haven’t explored. I am taking the Emmy as a sign to keep pursuing my passion that I chose at 18 years old,” she continued.
Vinson noted that her favorite thing about her job is getting to go on random side quests and travel. She was also nominated for Heartland Emmys in the Sports Open/Tease and Graphic Arts division. She earned her bachelors degree in Film and Media and a minor in Spanish and business from the University of Kansas in 2023.
