A chip seal project is expected to start Tuesday, July 28, on K-99 in Greenwood County, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.
The 24-mile project boundaries are from the U.S. 54/K-99 east junction north to the Lyon County line.
Flaggers and a pilot car will guide travelers where crews are actively working. Motorists can expect brief delays of up to 15 minutes. The project is expected to be done by the end of September, conditions permitting.
APAC-Kansas Inc., Shears Division, of Hutchinson, has the $851,634.85 contract.
