From projects to fun activities, the 2026 Greenwood County Fair concluded on Monday of this week with the annual livestock sale.
The annual event started with cooler temperatures and some rain; but continued with high temperatures, with a heat index near 115. That didn’t stop fair-goers from taking it all in, though.
Greenwood County 4-Hers, along with open class exhibitors, showcased their projects during the annual event, with several winning top honors. The annual Round Robin event was held on Sunday evening with a three-way tie in the senior division. After the judges worked together to break the tie, Bayleigh Benjamin, Madison Pacesetters, was named the Senior winner with Bradyn Greenwood, Fancy Mustangs, being named the Reserve Champion. Brody Greenwood, Fancy Mustangs, placed third. In the intermediate division, Jorja Beeman, Madison Pacesetters, claimed the championship honors. Harmony Sunflower’s Braxtyn Evenson received the Reserve Grand title.
