Edgenuity Teacher

Ms. Sanders is the incoming Edgenuity teacher, a credit recovery class for students who need to make up credits to get back on track for graduation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Secondary English & Language Arts and a Master of Science in Instructional Design & Technology, both from Emporia State University.

She has taught English, speech, forensics, and a number of literature classes at Olpe and Hartford. She has also taught English at Emporia Middle School. During her time at those schools, she coached volleyball and quiz bowl, served as yearbook advisor and directed school plays. After finishing her Master’s degree and moving to Washington state, she shifted from secondary education to a career in adult learning. She moved back at the end of 2021, and served as the Director of Marketing, Education, and the Hospital Foundation at Greenwood County Hospital, through Aug. 2025. She served as a substitute teacher for Eureka USD last school year.

In her spare time, she loves quality time with her 13-year-old son, Daniel Sanders; her significant other, Brandon Willis, an A-EMT for Greenwood County and Burrton; her extended family, and her dog, Yoshi. She also enjoys creating artsy things that make people smile. Most recently, she has learned wood burning and hat burning. She also enjoys music of all kinds, including concerts and karaoke.
