
A special “Meet the Candidates” section featuring responses from those candidates appearing opposed on the August primary ticket can be found on pages 5-7 of this week’s edition of
The Eureka Herald.
Questionnaires were sent to candidates in the following races: Greenwood County Commissioner District 2, United State Senate, United State House of Representatives, Governor/Lt. Governor, Secretary of State and State Board of Education District 9. A complete list of candidates who filed for election can be found on page 9 of last week’s edition.
Advance voting began on July 15 as ballots were mailed to those who requested a ballot via mail.
In-person advance voting begins on July 22, from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Greenwood County Clerk’s Office and concludes on Monday, Aug. 3 at noon.
Voting polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4
