Democratic senate candidate Ryan Gilbert shared last Friday that he was suspending his campaign.
“It is with great sadness that I suspend my campaign for Congress,” stated Congressional Candidate Gilbert, a Democrat from Wichita. “Due to personal family medical issues and other concerns, I have to step down from actively campaigning. As I said on the campaign trail, however, if plan A doesn’t work, then we move on to plan B. I will be pivoting to make sure that progressive candidates on the ballot get elected, not only in this upcoming primary but in November’s general election. More details will be coming soon about how I plan to do that.”
