Governor: Katy Reinecker Republican • Lieutenant
1. What interests you about serving in this role?
I believe in the principles of the Declaration of Independence with application through the Constitution of Kansas and the United States. It is because of this that it is time to elect a Governor that will defend life, liberty, state sovereignty and not forget that our rights come from God and not government. I look forward to asking, “What would the founders say?, to any policy question and will work from a bottom up perspective that respects the individual, the family, and the free market.
2. How do you prioritize competing demands with limited resources?
My goal is to have a budget that is at a pre-coronavirus identification 2019 level that will reduce spending and make it easier to reduce the tax burden for Kansas taxpayers. If it not an essential program we must make hard decisions and remember to be constitutionally conservative in all applications of legal larceny.
3. If elected, what would your top three priorities be during your first year?
First I will proclaim a day a fasting, humiliation and prayer for the state of Kansas, second I will work to reform nutrition/food service in state hospitals and prisons and then fight to deschedule cannabis/legalize marijuana for liberty in addition to making any remaining substance crimes a level 3 felony to effect early consequences to help deter criminal behavior, build character, and save the taxpayer money on law enforcement, Medicaid, mental health, and foster care spending.
4. Please list personal information or other information you feel is important.
I have spent my life serving Kansans as an EMT, police officer, firefighter, and CNA and for the last 18 years manager of the Inman Harvest Cafe with Katy, my wife and running mate. I am rooted in Kansas and ready to serve as your next Governor to be the biggest cheerleader for you, the people of Kansas. My goal is simple: to serve by following our agreed-upon rules of individual freedom, limited government, state’s rights, and traditional values. I’m Nick Reinecker, www.kansasunderdog.com and I would appreciate your vote on August 4th. Also, please vote yes on the constitutional amendment.
