2. How do you prioritize competing demands with limited resources?
Every dollar we spend is a statement about our values. In the U.S. Senate, I will prioritize lowering healthcare and housing costs, strengthening Social Security and Medicare, supporting public education, and investing in infrastructure. We also have to be fiscally responsible, which means no more tax breaks for giant corporations and billionaires while families struggle to make ends meet. Let’s cut taxes for the Kansans who need it most and make sure that working people’s interests are front and center - not special interests and the ultra-wealthy.
3. If elected, what would your top three priorities be during your first year?
I’m running to make life more affordable, end forever wars, and clean up corruption, so that our kids can build their futures here at home. Families are scared. Everyday costs like groceries, electricity, and gas are out of control. It’s time to lower the cost of living for Kansans. That means a tax cut for the middle class, closing loopholes that let the rich cheat the system, and making it illegal for corporate CEOs to price-gouge consumers at the grocery store and stop reckless decisions, such as tariffs and conflicts in the Mid dle East, that have driven up costs.
4. Please list personal information or other information you feel is important.
As a 34-year-old raising two kids with my wife, the struggles that Kansas families face aren’t abstract policy decisions to me - they are a part of my everyday life. I’m not only scared for my kids’ future, but my own.The American Dream feels further out of reach each year.Voters don’t want someone to come in and save us; they want someone who is one of them to bring the fight to the corrupt political system in Washington. Right now is a moment to stand strong in our values and fight.
1. What interests you about serving in this role?
I’m running for the U.S. Senate because our Members of Congress have deserted regular Kansans, while a few at the top profit. I’m running to defeat Senator Roger Marshall, a man so weak that he turned tail and ran out the back door of a town hall when Kansans dared to ask him simple questions.
It’s time to fight back against a system that works great for the Roger Marshalls of the world, and not the rest of us. I’m running to make life more affordable, end forever wars, and clean up corruption.
