A Grenola woman and two juveniles were injured in a vehicle rollover at approximately 5:20 a.m. on Thursday, July 8 in the 1500 block of 20th Street, in Severy.
According to the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office, deputies along with Greenwood County EMS responded to the scene.
Once on scene it was discovered Cristen Bahr, 44 of Grenola, was traveling eastbound in a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse on 20th St. from K-99 Highway, along with three juvenile occupants. Approximately a half mile west of S Rd, Bahr left the roadway to the north, which caused the vehicle to slide sideways. The vehicle struck a metal culvert and overturned, continuing in an easterly direction approximately 150 feet before striking a tree and coming to rest on its passenger side. All occupants were able to exit the vehicle on their own. Bahr, along with two of the juveniles, were transported to the Greenwood County Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. This accident remains under investigation.
