A special “Meet the Candidates” section will be featured in upcoming editions of The Eureka Herald.
Staff reached out to candidates who will appear on the August 4 primary ballot, with opposition.
Questionnaires were sent to candidates in the following races: Greenwood County Commissioner District 2, United State Senate, United State House of Representatives, Governor/Lt. Governor and Secretary of State. A complete list of candidates who filed for election can be found on page 9 of this week’s edition. Advance voting begins on July 15 as ballots will be mailed to those who requested a ballot via mail. In-person advance voting begins on July 22, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Greenwood County Clerk’s Office and concludes on Monday, Aug. 3 at noon.
