TNT Catering To Sell To La Taqueria B&B
After four years of serving Eureka and the surrounding communities, TNT Catering is closing a chapter, as ownership of its facility will transition from the Turner family to La Taqueria B&B.
In separate announcements, both TNT Catering and La Taqueria B&B posted the news to social media last week.
Owned and operated by Bud and Janet Turner and Luke and Angela Turner, TNT Catering has served as a catering company for weddings, graduations, reunions, school functions, corporate events, and other special occasions. The Turners credited the support of customers and the surrounding communities for the business’s success.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has supported TNT Catering over the past four years,” the Turner family said in a statement. “It has truly been an honor to serve this wonderful community.”
La Taqueria B&B, which has served authentic Mexican cuisine in Eureka for nearly 10 years, will assume both the catering operation and eventually relocate its restaurant to the current TNT Catering facility, located at 116 S. Adams St. The restaurant hopes to complete renovations and move to the new location by October 8, the date of its 10th anniversary, although an earlier move remains possible.
Until the new location is ready, La Taqueria B&B will continue operating from its current restaurant.
Pedro Be c e r ra-Barraza will oversee the catering business and has been working closely with the Turner family to ensure a smooth transition. While La Taqueria B&B already has catering experience, Becerra-Barraza said the goal is to continue many of the traditions that made TNT Catering successful, including its signature smoked meats and customer-favorite menu items.
J. Turner will remain with the business through the end of the year to assist with training and the ownership transition. Customers with catering events already scheduled can expect no interruption in service. All events booked through the end of the year will be honored.
Looking ahead, La Taqueria B&B plans to expand its catering menu by combining TNT Catering’s smoked meats with its own authentic Mexican cuisine.

The business also shared that customers can expect updates regarding new menu offerings and revised operating hours as preparations continue for the move into the larger facility.
