For many in the community, Kelly Kirkpatrick has been the first to step forward when someone needed help. Whether organizing fundraisers for families facing tragedy, serious health challenges, or fin ancial hardship, she has devoted countless hours to supporting others.
Now, Kelly needs support.
On Sunday, June 28, Kelly was admitted to the ICU in Wichita, where she received treatment for heart failure.
To help offset her medical expenses, a Pizza Hut fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, July 8.
Additional fundraisers are also being planned. A pool tournament and pulled pork dinner is slated for Thursday, July 11 at the Eureka VFW Post 2712. The tournament and dinner is slated to begin at 7 p.m. A karaoke event and raffle will also be held at Benny’s Westside on July 18, from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. Those who would like to contribute may also donate directly through CashApp ($KellyKirkpatrick7) or Venmo (@ Kelly-Kirkpatrick-52).
Monetary donations may also be mailed in care of The Eureka Herald, P.O. Box 590, Eureka, KS 67045. Checks should be made payable to Kelly Kirkpatrick.
