The annual Eureka In Eureka event was held on Saturday, July 4 from 12-2 p.m. The scavenger hunt throughout the city limits of Eureka, (including the cemetery), had 50 questions to answer this year. A total of eight teams picked up packets. The winning team was comprised of Matt, Leanne, Kaydenn and Korbynn Winn, Dianna Sutton, Heather Barrows, Kody Klingbeil and Josie Lind.
They will be in charge of the event in 2027. Second place went to H and W (Hurley/ Ward); and third place went to Fun Home (Thompson/ Koup Family).
Russell’s Rugrats (Amanda Duerksen, Russell Hewitt, Chelsey Brodie, Cody Gabriel and Natalie Pennington) put the 2026 event together and are hopeful the event will continue to grow each year.
