Jennifer Eagleson, APRN, will conclude her service at the Eureka Clinic on Aug. 16, ending five years of caring for patients and fami lies throughout the Greenwood County community.
Eagleson has served patients at the Eureka Clinic since 2021, building lasting relationships with individuals and families while providing primary care services. During her time at the clinic, she has become a familiar and trusted healthcare provider for many area residents.
Eagleson stated, “I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming support, kind words, encouragement, and well wishes after my announcement.” She continued, “While it is bittersweet to leave my current position, I am excited for the opportunity to work closer to home as the School Nurse for Bluestem School District in Leon.” Eagleson will also have the honor of helping establish and grow a school-based health clinic, providing healthcare services to students and staff. “I am incredibly grateful for the patients, coworkers, and community members who have trusted, supported, and encouraged me throughout my time here,” Eagleson said.

Eagleson also emphasized that patients can expect continued access to care at the Eureka Clinic.
“I want to assure patients that their care will continue without interruption,” she said. “Dr. Basham, Dr. McClintick, and Shannon Barus, APRN, will continue providing care to patients at the Eureka Clinic while Greenwood County Hospital begins the search for a replacement provider.”
Greenwood County Hospital CEO Sandra Dickerson said, “Jennifer has made a meaningful impact on the lives of many patients and families during her time at the Eureka Clinic,” Dickerson said. “We are grateful for her dedication, compassion, and commitment to providing quality care, and we thank her for the care she has provided to our community over the past five years.
