The June meeting of the Fancy Mustangs 4-H Club was called to order on June 3, at 6:32 p.m. at the Neal Community Building. Roll call was answered by “Where would you go on your dream vacation?” There was 19 members, one leader and one cloverbud present. Highlights were given about the educational trip to Emporia State. Discussion was had about the Fourth of July parade to be held in Neal on July 4 at 7 p.m., the Fancy Mustangs will have a float. Members were encouraged to bring decorations, their 4-H animals, and dress in red, white, and blue. There will also be a community dinner that starts at 5:30 p.m. New business included the buyers meal at the fair and a new refrigerator for the Neal Community Building.
The club also hosted their club tour: each member presented slides and talked about their 4-H projects. There was no recreation, followed by lots of reminders about the upcoming Fair. Appreciation was shown to the Nelson family for hosting the meeting. The club’s next meeting will be at set-up at the Fair.
