With our nation’s Independence Day this Saturday, July 4, area communities are planning special events in honor of our nation’s 250th birthday.
Eureka will host their annual Party In The Park on July 3-4. Among the events is live music by the Sputnik ICT, an 80s hits cover band. A complete schedule of events will be featured in next week’s edition.
The annual Piedmont Rodeo will be held on July 3-4 beginning at 8 p.m. both nights, with a fireworks display planned for 10 p.m. on Friday, July 4.
Hamilton will host its 4th of July Party in the Park on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Hamilton City Park, with a fireworks display slated for 10 p.m.
Neal will be hosting its annual picnic and parade on Saturday, July 4, on Main Street, in Neal, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The parade will be held at 7 p.m. on Main Street, followed by cake and ice cream at the community building. The evening will conclude with fireworks at dark on Main Street.
The Dean family will also be putting on their annual 4th of July display from their family’s lake, south of Madison, at 10 p.m. on July 4.
Toronto Days will be held June 29 - July 5, with their annual fireworks display being held at dusk on Friday, July 3. A complete schedule of events will be featured in next week’s edition.
