Recognized For Achieving 60 Years As A Certified Medical Technologist

Pat Armstead was recently recognized by the American Medical Technologists for achieving 60 years as a Certified Medical Technologist. He received his 60-year cert ification pin Thursday, June 18.

Armstead began his medical technology education in February 1964 while simultaneously working in the laboratory. After completing his studies, he passed his certification examination in 1966 and earned his credentials as a Certified Medical Technologist.

Over the course of six decades, Armstead has devoted his career to the medical laboratory profession, contributing to patient care and laboratory services through his experience and commitment to quality healthcare.

The 60-year recognition from the American Medical Technologists marks a significant professional milestone and reflects a longstanding dedication to laboratory medicine. Few medical laboratory professionals reach this level of certification longevity.
