Seven Hamilton Tigers earned their high school diplomas on Saturday, May 16. Ethan Jones was named Valedictorian and Westyn Lauer was named Salutatorian.

The following list of future plans and scholarships received for the Hamilton Class of 2026 was submitted by the school as follows: Hagen Ashlock plans to use his FHTC welding degree to pursue a welding career.

Loagn Brinkmeyer plans to continue working as a certified nurse’s aid, using his FHTC Health Occupations Technology certificate.

Ashlynn Coleman plans to attend Emporia State University and major in Biochemistry. She then plans to attend medical school for neurology. She received a Schlotterbeck/ Sloan Scholarship.

Trip Gulick plans to work in the oil field and join the police academy to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Ethan Jones plans to attend Pratt Community College majoring in Wildlife Outfitting Operations. He received the R.E. French Scholarship; Sam Wine Scholarship; Babson Scholarship; Greenwood County Hospital Foundation’s Lew Marshall, Francis Campbell, & Jerry Handley Golf Tournament Scholarship; Hamilton Education Association Scholarship; Hamilton Alumni Scholarship; Schlotterbeck/ Sloan Scholarship; Nathen Smalley Scholarship; VFW Post 2712 Eureka Scholarship and the Matt Samuels Memorial Scholarship.

Westyn Lauer plans to attend Pratt Community College majoring in Ranch Management and compete on the Pratt Community College Rodeo Team. He received the Hallren/Worley Scholarship, Ken Hughes Memorial Scholarship and Schlotterbeck/ Sloan Scholarship.

Catherine Seiter plans to attend Redlands Community College in Oklahoma and major in Animal Science. She received the Ken Hughes Memorial Scholarship; Nicholas Fund Scholarship; Schl o t t e r b e ck/ Sloan Scholarship and Willow Valley Go Getters 4-H Scholarship.
