Westerman, Perrier, Owings, Noble, Mongeau, Mills, Miller, Mason & Fitzwater Named Eureka Class Of 2026 Valedictorians; Bruno-Pelky Named Salutatorian
Ten members of the Eureka High School Class of 2026 received special recognition during Senior Day festivities last Friday, May 15, when they were named as the Valedictorians and Salutatorian of the graduating class.
Alaina Westerman, Hannah Perrier, Harlie Owings, Ava Noble, Britta Mongeau, TJ Mills, Madelyn Miller, Lydia Mason and William Fitzwater completed their high school careers with 4.0 grade point averages and were named as the 2026 Valedictorians and Savannah Bruno-Pelky was named as the 2026 Salutatorian.
These 10 were also 10 of 12 Eureka High School seniors to complete the Kansas Board of Regents recommended curriculum. Additional details, including special scholarships earned and future plans, can be found on page 9 of this week’s edition.
Fitzwater is the son of LeeRay Fitzwater of Havana and Teresa Jeanneret of Olpe.
Mason is the daughter of Darin and Joanna Mason of Hamilton.
Miller is the daughter of Scott and Shelby Miller of Eureka.
Mills is the son of Shawn and Dana Mills of rural Eureka.
Mongeau is the daughter of Brian and Vandetta Mongeau of Eureka Ava Noble is the daughter of Phil and Anna Noble of Eureka.
Owings is the daughter of Greggory Owings and Nikole Tackett of Eureka.
Perrier is the daughter of Matt and Amy Perrier of rural Eureka.
Alaina Westerman is the daughter of Luke and Mindy Westerman of rural Eureka.
Bruno-Pelky is the daughter of John Bruno and Kristina Pelky of rural Hamilton.
