Donnie and Jody K. (Wells) McCollum will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Friday, May 29 with family and friends.
The couple was married on May 29, 1986 at the Assembly of God Church in El Dorado.
They made their life in Fall River. Jody is a retired school teacher, teaching high school science. Donnie continues to farm.
They have three grown daughters, Kodie, Aadrian and Brenda and five grandchildren, Anna, Kaden, Wyatt, Theo and Kayson.
To celebrate the occasion, the couple will host a dinner for 50 family members and friends at the Biker Bar in Independence.
