Tornado Baseball Concluded Season At 2A Regional

Eureka baseball concluded their 2026 season last Thursday, May 14, falling to Marmaton Valley, in Moran.

Eureka surrendered 10 runs in the first inning and Marmaton Valley added 5 additional runs in the third, with Eureka unable to get on the board.

Dylan Conard struck out three for Eureka, while Marmaton Valley’s Lord earned the win with six strikeouts over three innings.

Despite the result, Eureka has continued to show growth throughout the season. “A great number of kids have made significant improvement in a short period of time,” stated head coach Thomas Lowe.

Against Fredonia

The Tornadoes final regular season was in Fredonia on Monday, May 11. In the first game, Eureka fell 6-21, after the Yellowjackets scored 12 runs in the first inning. Cooper Roberson and Tate Scott each drove in two runs for Eureka, while Kaleb Hollis, JP Guillaume, Roberson, and Scott recorded hits in the game.

In the second matchup, Eureka battled back several times before falling 20-21 in a high-scoring thriller. Guillaume led the way with five hits, while Davian Damron, Roberson, and Scott each added multiple hits.
