Two Eureka seniors were honored last Tuesday, May 12 during the annual Tornado Awards assembly.
Eureka Junior/Senior High School (EJSHS) Principal Angie Lowe announced the honors, recognizing the 2026 “Most Outstanding Boy and Girl” of the EJSHS Class of 2026 as Peyton Hare and Britta Mongeau.
Hare is the son of Toni Bitler and John Riggs of Severy and Jason Hare of Eureka.
Mongeau is the daughter of Brian and Vandetta Mongeau of Eureka.
