Tornado Track & Field Competed At El Dorado & Humboldt Invitationals
The Eureka Tornadoes track and field team turned in a strong showings at the El Dorado Invitational on May 1 and the Humboldt Invitational on May 7, highlighted by a pair of championship performances from Peyton Hare and several top-10 finishes across the meet at El Dorado and several runner-up finishes at Humboldt.

The Tornadoes will then travel to Humboldt on Friday, May 22 for regional action. Those finishing in the top three in each event (plus the next four across all regionals) will qualify for the state meet in Wichita on May 29-30. Teams competing at the Humboldt Regionals include: Arma-Northeast, Central Heights, Chase County, Cherokee-Southeast, Erie, Eureka, Herington, Humboldt, Lyndon, Marion, Mission Valley, Northern Heights, Oswego, St. Mary’s Colgan, Uniontown and Yates Center.
