Eureka Honors Club Recognized Top Six Students At EHS
2025-26 Eureka Honors Club Honorees

A total of 28 Eureka Junior Senior High School (EJSHS) students were honored on Wednesday, April 29, during the 11th annual Eureka Honors Club honors banquet. The top six students, based on grade point average, in the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior grade levels, were recognized. A tie in the freshmen and senior classes resulted in seven and nine students being honored, respectively.

The annual event was held at EJSHS. Fourtime Eureka Honors Club honoree Hannah Perrier gave the invocation. Club members, honorees and guests were introduced.

Connor Torrey, a 2014 graduate of EJSHS, served as the featured speaker. He continued his education in Manhattan, earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from K-State University. He is currently employed with Mora Technologies as an automation engineer. He and his wife, Dr. Lauren Torrey reside in Little Rock, Ark.
