Eureka Music Club met at Christ Lutheran Church on April 13, with 12 members in attendance.
Following the business meeting, Carolyn Perrier introduced the program with the theme, “Favorite Music from Easter and the Month of April.”
To begin the program, Margaret Spires and Rise Russin presented a piano duet, “Near the Cross.”
Robin Himes played a piano solo, “In Thee is Gladness.”
Grace Stacey played two piano solos, “The Pagan Love Song” and “I’m An Old Cowhand.”
“It Looks Like Rain on Cherry Blossom Lane” was a piano solo presented by Jean Edwards.
Perrier played a piano solo, “Raindrops Are Falling On My Head.”
In honor of the recent Artemis II astronauts’ exploration, Mary Ellen Forbes accompanied herself and sang, “Fly Me To the Moon.”
Sue Ellen Wenthe presented a vocal solo, “I Love You Truly” accompanied by Stacey.
Following the program, delicious refreshments were served by the hostesses, Stacey, Perrier and Marla DeGraffenreid.
This will be the last meeting for the club this year. It will resume meeting on Oct. 12.
