A Piedmont family welcomed their newborn son, Bryer Lee Decker, nine weeks early on Tuesday, March 24.
Although he arrived at just 31-weeks, Bryer showed remarkable strength at birth, weighing 5 pounds 2 ounces and measuring 18 inches long. He was born at 11:25 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, at Wesley Medical Center, in Wichita, where he is currently receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
His parents, Jeff and Doris, say Bryer is continuing to fight and grow stronger each day under the watchful care of medical staff.
