The Eureka Lady Tornadoes etched their names into the record books during a historic 2025-26 season, breaking six team records while securing the best state finish in program history with a third-place showing.

This year’s squad showcased its all-around dominance by setting new marks in total points, 3-point shots, free throw percentage, steals, assists and rebounds.

Eureka piled up 1,538 total points on the season, surpassing the previous record of 1,397 set by the 2022–23 team. The Lady Tornadoes also found success from beyond the arc, knocking down 185 3-pointers to break the 2023-24 record of 157.

At the free throw line, the team edged the previous school record of 65 percent (2018–19) with a new mark of 65.3 percent.

Defensively, the Lady Tornadoes recorded 388 steals, topping the 2017-18 team’s total of 373. Their unselfish play was evident in 372 assists, breaking the 2023-24 record of 355, while their presence on the boards led to 834 rebounds, surpassing the 2020-21 record of 776. Despite the record- breaking season, two marks remain untouched: field goal percentage (48 percent, 2020-21) and free throw points (349, 201819).
