The Eureka Garden Club met on April 3 at TNT Catering for lunch at 11:30 a.m.
President Vicki Holladay expressed appreciation to Sherrie Dennis and Patricia Soule for being the hostesses. There were 11 members present. Sheila Hughes read the minutes of the March meeting. Sue McDonald gave the treasurer’s report. Cammie Wilson gave a report on the mini garden. The group will meet at TNT Catering at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast and then proceed to the garden for cleaning and summer planting.
New officers were chosen for the next two years. The new officers will be: Cheryl Sowder, President; Patricia Soule, Vice President; Cammie Wilson, Secretary; and Melinda Nichols, Treasurer. The program for the day was a plant/ garden item exchange. All members were given philodendron starts for door prizes.
Officers will be the hostesses for the May 1 meeting. The meeting was adjourned by standing and repeating the Gardener’s Creed.
