WELCA met on April 2 at the Christ Lutheran Church Bell Tower Room in Eureka. Joni Booth called the meeting to order and Sue Erickson gave the devotions “God change me, NOT just change a situation.”
Seven members answered roll call with a Bible verse and Peggy Gillian was a guest.
Erickson read the minutes of March 5. Rene Wiggins gave the Treasurer’s report.
A bill was presented from Susan Johnson for paper goods.
Erickson presented an apron idea for kitchen helpers in the church.
Vacation Bible School plans will be made soon.
Wiggins gave the program on “Fear” and how to deal with it. “Trust In God” Bible verses from Psalm and Peter were used.
The next meeting will be held on May 7 with Camille Frakes giving devotions; Margaret Spires will give the program and Amy Schouten will provide refreshments. The meeting closed with the Lord’s Prayer in unison.
