The time is upon us… Spring Cleaning!
This means something different to everyone some of us will clean out flower beds to get ready for new growth; clean out closets of children to see what still fits; and for our Flint Hills ranchers, it’s time for burning. Out with the old and in with the new! Our fire departments were busy this weekend keeping up with red flag warn-ings and accidental fires. Can’t imagine a place more equip and a county more full of “fire science” than right here in Greenwood County. We are lucky to have them and their knowledge on hand and grateful for the many volunteers in our communities keeping us safe.
