Eureka Music Club met at the Christ Lutheran Church on March 9, with 15 members in attendance.
Following a short business meeting, Grace Stacey introduced the program with the theme, “Favorites during the Month of March” To begin the program, Pat Surber sang a vocal solo, “High on a Windy Hill” accompanied by Jean Edwards. Margaret Spires then played a piano solo, “Seeing Nellie Home” also known as The Quilting Party Song. This was in honor of March being National Quilt Month.
Sue Ellen Wenthe sang a vocal solo, “Just Another Manic Monday” accompanied by Grace Stacey.
Jean Edwards played a piano solo, “Suddenly There’s A Valley.”
Grace Stacey sang a vocal solo, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” accompanied by Marla DeGraffenried.
Carla Cook ended the program with a favorite Toby Keith recording, “Trying to Fall in Love.”
Following the program, delicious refreshments were served by the hostesses, Sheri Hall and Marilyn Seymour.
The next Eureka Music Club meeting will be on April 13 at the Christ Lutheran Church. The hostess will be Marla De-Graffenreid and Carolyn Perrier will be in charge of the program.
