We went for a drive Saturday afternoon around Lake Fegan and, it had been awhile since we had, there were some changes out there. I don’t know when, but the low water bridge on the north end no longer has all the trees and bushes around there. It sure looked different even weird as we came around the curve heading west. I’m sure there was a good reason for it.
While out and about we stopped and visited with some friends for awhile. When we came back to town the pastures had been burned at Hwy 105 and Coyote Rd. It was really smoky in that area. On down the road, around the curve right at the top of the hill heading into town we saw a really big flame shooting skyward. Got closer and it was a cedar tree that had caught on fire and was going up.
