After receiving a tip of an off-duty officer being involved in an accident in a neighboring county, The Eureka Herald made multiple calls seeking additional details. The tip was made anonymously through the Herald’s website. All attempts to contact the citizen (phone and email provided) were unsuccessful.
However, an official report hasn’t yet been received nor has any information been uploaded to the public access portal.
This issue may not merit additional details, but The Eureka Herald will continue to look into the matter.
