Our community (and our newspaper!) really knows how to show up and support our kids!
It was such a rush to watch the Lady Tornadoes over the last few weeks in their path to winning 3rd Place at State basketball on Friday. We know they have a great following and are so fun to watch, but the number of community members and students that travelled to watch them in Salina and then in Emporia, not once but twice, was AWESOME!!!! To see our crowd was SO impressive, but when you compared it to the number of fans there for the other teams, wow… WELL DONE, EUREKA! Cheering them on to victory!
And to the Lady Tornadoes, what an incredible accomplishment! The dedication you girls have made to be so successful in basketball this year will take you far in life. Congratulations on making school history!! We are all so proud!!!!
