The Eureka businesswomen met on Tuesday, March 3, at TNT Catering in Eureka. There were 10 members and one guest present. Guest was Monica McCormack, Businesswoman of the month and the program for the evening. Roll call was answered by “What are your Spring Break Plans?”

The minutes of the last meeting were given and approved as read. The treasurer’s report was given and approved as read.

Announcements were made. Jayme Lewis, representing Greenwood County Health Department, gave an update regarding the Blessing Box located at their office. Tonya Casper gave an update on the Goat Yoga at The Gym.

There was no correspondence this evening.

There was no old business. There was no new business.

The businesswoman of the month was McCormack. She was presented with a certificate. She lives at the Eureka Lake with her husband. She has a stained-glass business in Eureka. McCormack started doing stained glass 20 years ago. She states it is an easy expensive hobby.

McCormack, from Whimsical Wonders, presented the program for the evening. Whimsical Wonders is located on 2nd Street, behind The Gym, in Eureka. She showed the club how to cut glass and the steps involved in making a stainedglass project. She had several items that she had made for sale. She has taught all ages how to do stained-glass projects. Store hours for the business are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and she leaves for lunch for one hour. She showed the club a mosaic table that she has made.

Door prizes were won by everyone who was present. Each member received a piece of glass work from McCormack at Whimsical Wonders in Stained Glass.

The club sang Happy Birthday to Melissa Beitz and Anneleise Brubaker.

Hostesses for the evening were Marilee McCoy, Beitz, Ava Jones and Kacey Countryman.

The meeting closed with the club collect.
