To Host Meet & Greet, Reading and Book Signing This Friday

A young Kansas author will share her debut novel with readers during a special meet-and-greet, live reading and book signing next week.

First-time novelist Banff Isabella Perkins will host the event on Friday, March 13, at 3:30 p.m. at the Hamilton City Library, located at 21 Main St., in Hamilton. Patrons will have the opportunity to meet the author, hear a live reading from her book, and have copies signed.

Perkins is the author of the novel Feared & Forgotten, which she published at the age of 18.

A 2024 graduate of Eureka Junior/Senior High School, Perkins has long had a passion for reading and storytelling. Throughout her life, she has maintained a strong love for discovering life’s adventures through the pages of books.

That passion led her to begin writing at an early age. Perkins started writing when she was just 12 years old, completing her first manuscript as a young teenager. Years later, that dedication to storytelling led to the publication of her debut novel.

Attendees will be able to hear Perkins read an excerpt from Feared & Forgotten, ask questions about her writing journey, and meet the author in person next Friday, March 13, in Hamilton.

The event is open to the public. Perkins is the daughter of Mark and Donelda Perkins of Eureka. Currently, she is studying journalism, creative writing and business at the University of Kansas.
