The Eureka Garden Club met on March 6 at TNT Catering for lunch at 11:30.
After lunch, President Vicki Holladay expressed appreciation to Loria Howard and Marilyn Seymour for being hostesses and Janet Turner for the delicious lunch she prepared.
There were 13 members present. Sheila Hughes, secretary, read the minutes of the February meeting. Sue McDonald, treasurer, gave the treasurer’s report. Sara Shivers, owner of Salt Creek Farm, gave a presentation about their family business. Cammie Wilson gave a report on the Mini Garden. Cheryl Sowder and Melinda Nichols will present a list of prospective officers for the coming two year term at the next meeting. Cheryl Sowder and Melinda Nichols won the door prizes which were potted succulents. The next meeting will be on April 3 with Sherri Dennis and Patricia Soule as hostesses. The program will be a plant or garden item exchange. The meeting was adjourned by standing and repeating the Gardener’s Creed.
