After more than a decade behind the microphone, Brian Mongeau announced his final home basketball game last Tuesday, March 3, closing a 12.5-year chapter of service to the local junior high and high school basketball programs.
Mongeau has been a familiar voice at home games for the last 12+ seasons, announcing lineups, game up-dates and key moments for both junior high and high school teams.
During halftime of the girls sub-state semifinal game, Mongeau was recognized for his years of dedication. In a special presentation, he was given a basketball signed by members of both the boys and girls basketball teams as a token of appreciation.
