Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library (EPL) hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. You can rent books, audiobooks and movies and join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.
This month, the Eureka Public Library will host the following:
Spring Break Story Hour
On Wednesday, March 18 at 4 p.m., come for a Spring Break Story Hour! The group will read books, make a craft and celebrate the holiday together!
Spring Break Teen/ Tween T-shirt Tie-Dye Join the library for a special teen/tween event Thursday, March 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. Each child will be provided with one Eureka Public Library t-shirt to dye, and they can also bring one additional item from home to tie-dye as well! This is a free event for children aged 7th through 12th grade only. You must register by Friday, March 13 to attend this event!
Spring Break Lego Day Join the group for Lego Day on Friday, March 20 at 4 p.m. Patrons of all ages are invited to come and create a Lego masterpiece to put on display in the library until summer!
March Book Munch Club Join the library for Book Munch Club on Tuesday, March 24 at 6:30 p.m. Book Munch Club is a book club for persons 18 and older where everyone involved reads their own books at their own pace. It’s a great way to meet new people, find new great books you might not have considered, and be a part of a book club without all the pressure! Feel free to bring a dish to share (or not lol) and come talk books with the group! No RSVP necessary, no registering! Just come as you are and hang out with other adults.
Game Night
Patrons of all ages! Come and play games at the library! Friday, March 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. we will have a selection of games out and available to play. Mingle, make friends, snack, and get your game on! You may also bring your own board games to share with others!
