The West Elk Patriot wrestling team concluding their season last Saturday at the 3-2-1A Regional A, held at Eureka Junior/Senior High School.
Following are the individual results for Patriots: 113: Welch Murphy (1322) lost by fall to Gauge Culbertson (Douglass) 11-9 (Fall 1:04); won by fall over Kennan Beham (Longton- Elk Valley) 1-4 (Fall 1:33); and lost by all to Drake Defore (Leon Bluestem) 14-18 (Fall 0:34).
165: Corbin Arbuckle (723) received a bye; lost by fall to Brady Felt (Jayhawk Linn) 26-11 (Fall 0:58); and lost by fall to Kei Da- (Pleasanton) 2-3 (Fall 0:36).
285: Edward Metcalf (17-15) received a bye; lost by fall to Colton Babcock (Neodesha) 14-10 (Fall 0:43); received a bye; won by fall over Lawrence Hayes (Udall) 0-25 (Fall 0:32); and lost by fall to Dylan Bailey (Leon Bluestem) 28-9 (Fall 1:48).
