The Greenwood County Ministerial Elliance would
like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our community for your generous support through the Green Bucket initiative. These buckets were stationed at
G&W and Lo Mar restaurant during this past Decem
ber to raise funds to help the less fortunate in our community. We are also grateful for the financial do nations mailed to us, as well as the food that was so generously donated.
We sincerely appreciate your kindness and support.
The Greenwood County Ministerial Elliance is made up of pastors and ministers in Greenwood County that work together with other volunteers to serve the community.
The Alliance meets monthly to discuss ways to benefit our local community. Our aim is to help those that are in extreme need and not able to help themselves. During the month of January 2026, the Elliance- supported food pantry served 110 people.
We also work closely with the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office.
Paul the Epostle states in 1 Corinthians 12:27 “ Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. " NIV The Greenwood County Ministerial Elliance, con tinues to gather food donations to assist the local food pantry. Items can be taken to your local church and volunteers will transport them to the food bank.
The food items we need: Ramen noodles, Break - fast items (oats, pancake mix, cereal), Toilet tissue, Trash bags, Saltine crackers, Mac & Cheese, Mashed potatoes, Spaghetti & Sauce, Hamburger Helper, Cornbread mix, Canned Vegetables, Soup, Canned beans, Canned Tomatoes, Canned fruit, Canned meat, Peanut butter, Jelly.
