As you may know, Larry French passed away on November 30, 2025. Larry was an integral part of our Ti-
tle Office. He was one of the original founders of the business, whose main focus was accounting and financial management. He has been, and will
be, greatly missed.
There have been changes we view will be positive to keep Greenwood County Title moving forward in the process of providing our clients with continued timely and competent service.
Our business partner, Joel Porter, was instrumental in establishing and managing the Woodson County Title office location since 2012. Then in 2022, Joel, was again instrumental in the opening of an office in Fredonia (Wil - son County Title). That office is now being managed by our associate Shyla Schultz.
With the help of our associate, Becky Grisier, in Yates Center, it has given Joel the opportunity to be in Eureka on Tuesday and Wednesday. He is dedicated to keeping the tradition that the people of Greenwood County and surrounding counties expect with great service and professionalism.
Our other associates in the Eureka office are; Kirk Gry der, who has been assisting with real estate closings and Leilani Euler, our researcher.
One of our original company founders, Janice Van- Hoozer, can still be found at the office in Eureka one day a week for issuing title policies, along with mailing recorded documents to all our wonderful clients.
We deeply appreciate the trust our clients have shown us over the past many years. We will strive to continue to meet your needs to help with their real estate transactions.
