The Eureka Garden Club met on Feb. 6 at TNT Catering in Eureka for lunch at 11:30 a.m.
After lunch, President Vicki Holladay expressed appreciation to Cammie Wilson and Kathy Jackson for being hostesses and for the delicious lunch which was prepared by Janet Turner.
There were 13 members present.
Rise Russin, acting secretary, read the minutes of the January meeting.
Sue McDonald, treasurer, gave the treasurer’s report.
The door prizes were seed containers won by Russin and a plantable seed calendar won by Melinda Nichols.
Wilson and Jackson demonstrated how to plant seeds in containers. Members then planted various seeds in containers to take home.
The next meeting will be March 6 with Marilyn Seymour and Loria Howard as co-hostesses.
The meeting was adjourned by standing and repeating the Gardener’s Creed.
