Community members are urged to roll up their sleeves on Friday, Feb. 27 as a community blood drive aims to combat a severe shortage of blood units.
The blood drive will take place from 12-6 p.m. at Eureka United Methodist Church, located at 521 N. Main Street, in Eureka. Community members are encouraged to make an appointment by calling the American Red Cross at 800-REDCROSS (800-7332767).
The event is being supported by volunteers from the Greenwood County Hospital Auxiliary and the Community Benefit Women’s Educational Club, whose members will assist throughout the day.
