Eureka’s C-team boys began the night for the Tornadoes and claimed a 23-16 victory over the Cubs. Eureka scored consistently in each quarter to secure the victory. Scoring for Eureka were Landon Noonan 10, Ogden 4, Marcus Clark 3 and Asher Euler, Brannon Blakley and Blake Wells all with 2.

Eureka Junior High basketball teams faced Humboldt in a full night of action, last Tuesday, Jan. 20 earning several wins.
The A-team girls picked up a 20-12 victory, building an early lead and holding Humboldt to just four points in the first half. Eureka led 13–2 after the first quarter, 19-4 at half and 19-10 after three. Scoring for Eureka were Molly Dehlinger 7, Kaylee Palmer 5, Mia Ptacek 3, Alivia Hare and Braxtyn Evenson each with 2 and Bella Damron 1.
Eureka’s B-team girls earned a decisive 17-4 win in a shortened two-quarter contest. Eureka pulled away with a strong second quarter. Scoring for Eureka were Khloe Crisswell 12, Raegen Ashlock 4 and Ptacek 1.
The A-team boys dropped a close 38-40 to Humboldt in a back-and-forth game. Eureka led 25-19 at halftime, but Humboldt edged ahead in the final quarter. Scoring for Eureka were Cord Adkins 18, Gavin Gonzales 15 and Donovan Owings and Liam Mead each with 2.
