The Hamilton Junior Class is gearing up for a fun-filled evening with the return of Donkey Basketball on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 5 p.m. The event will take place at the Hamilton School Gymnasium.
This unique fundraiser will feature teams made up of students from Hamilton FFA, West Elk FFA, Madison FFA, along with Hamilton Alumni, all competing atop donkeys in a fast-paced and comical twist on the classic game of basketball.
The evening will tip off with West Elk FFA taking on Madison FFA in the first game. Fans won’t want to miss the halftime show, featuring a special performance by the Hamilton Tiny Tiger Cheer Squad.

The second matchup of the night will showcase Hamilton FFA versus Hamilton Alumni. During halftime of this game, attendees can enjoy free donkey rides.
The night will conclude with a championship game between the two game winners, crowning the Donkey Basketball champions of the evening.
Concessions will be available.
Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door at a higher rate. Students five and under are free. Advance tickets can be purchased by checking the Hamilton USD 390 Facebook page and locating the QR code.
Proceeds from the event will support the Hamilton Junior Class, helping fund this year’s prom and next year’s senior class trip. The community is encouraged to attend.
Junior Class members include: Braxton Turner, Sophia Rayburn, Sutton Nelson, Ella Miller, Jax Adams, Tanner Ashlock and Kittanna Cooksey; Their sponsor is Natalie Boone.
